Panadol Rapid Soluble effervescent tablets have a refreshing lemon flavor and are absorbed twice as quickly as regular Panadol tablets. They provide fast, effective, temporary relief from pain and discomfort associated with headaches, muscular aches, period pain, toothache, migraines, colds and flu, and tension headaches. The active ingredient, paracetamol, works by blocking pain signals to the brain and also helps reduce fever.

Panadol Rapid is effective for relieving:

• Headaches and tension headaches
• Migraines
• Toothaches
• Muscular aches
• Cold and flu symptoms
• Period pain

It also helps reduce fever.

Each tablet contains 500mg of paracetamol, saccharin sodium, and 42.5mg (18.5mmol) sodium, which should be considered by those on a low-sodium diet. Panadol Rapid is free from gluten, lactose, sucrose, phenylalanine, and aspartame.

Important Warnings:

• Phenylketonurics: This product contains aspartame (phenylalanine).
• Do not use Panadol Rapid Soluble if you are:
  • Allergic to paracetamol
  • Using other medicines containing paracetamol
  • Under 12 years of age
  • A child aged 12-17 and using it for more than 48 hours without medical advice
  • Phenylketonuric
  • Using it for more than a few days at a time as an adult, unless advised by a doctor
  • If any seals on the packaging are broken or the expiry date has passed
  • If you have liver or kidney problems
  • If you are taking warfarin (a blood-thinning medication)

Seek medical attention immediately if:

• You have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath, or wheezing after taking Panadol.
• You suspect an overdose—call the Poisons Information Centre (AUST: 13 11 26; NZ: 0800 764 766) or go to the hospital immediately, even if you feel fine, due to the risk of serious liver damage if left untreated.
